A big load-shot of memories in the face!
I remember watching this episode of Dallas back in the day & it scared the bejaysus out of me. A super-cool ending in my opinion. They don't make em like that anymore.
I was prob about 9 or 10 when I watched this, all snug in the sitting room with my family and the fire on. All the lights in the rest of the house were usually off. I'd say after watching this,if I needed to pee, i'd have to do the usual thing when I was freaked, of asking my Dad to keep on talking to me while I went into the hallway to the toilet and then sprinted back.

A new poem. (Inspired by the comedian Steven Wright)
A little Christmas jingle ( My latest poem )
'Stencil'
The stencil of the day,
shaped by the rhythm of the week,
the wisdom of your feet,
the kingdom that you keep.
Shaded by echoes of the past that were not there from the get go.
The ones that seem to last are usually not welcome.
This vessel’s in orbit.
Each time around the course it contorts,
mostly to tighten like a corset
because the longer you go, the more the alternative gets worse.
The mess is always recorded!

A poem I like
I bought a book of poems today outside Dun Laoghaire Shopping Centre. The book is created by James Kelly. This poem stood out:
'Dying'
When you were dying
We got closer
I bent down
to kiss your lips and you whispered
"I love you"
And I cried
But you were too ill.
I was afraid to hurt you
If you saw my tears
But you tried to smile
Before the cough
And you tried to say it
"I'm dying"
And you held on to my hand
And it took your dying
to bring us closer
'Dying'
When you were dying
We got closer
I bent down
to kiss your lips and you whispered
"I love you"
And I cried
But you were too ill.
I was afraid to hurt you
If you saw my tears
But you tried to smile
Before the cough
And you tried to say it
"I'm dying"
And you held on to my hand
And it took your dying
to bring us closer

An old poem of mine. Written about and dedicated to someone special (on this important day).
'Pinata'
I can pinpoint the day it all fell down
and I know the donkey to pin it on.
Can I take the blindfold off
and pin it on his heart,
so I’m sure I get it right,
and we can restless assured?
No more candy for us!
We have the bats that hit the ground,
when we try to play the Pinata
Pin the tail on the Donkey,
but pull it, so that he can’t run away.
Hit him over the head
and feed on him for days,
but make sure he comes back conscious,
and hang him on a tree,
so he can come back to health again
and bear fresh fruit to eat.
No more candy for us!
We have the bats that hit the ground,
when we try to play the Pinata

Chuck Norris Jokes
Some people wear Superman pajamas. Superman wears Chuck Norris pajamas.
Chuck Norris' tears cure cancer. Too bad he has never cried. Ever.
Chuck Norris is the reason why Waldo is hiding.
They once made a Chuck Norris toilet paper, but it wouldn't take shit from anybody.
Helen Keller’s favorite color is Chuck Norris

'Zen Koans' (No more Harp now. That'll learn them!)
'True Friends'
A long time ago in China there were two friends, one who played the harp skillfully and one who listened skillfully.
When the one played or sang about a mountain, the other would say: "I can see the mountain before us."
When the other played about water, the listener would exclaim: "Here is the running stream!"
But the listener fell sick and died. The first friend cut the strings of his harp and never played again. Since that time the cutting of harp strings has always been a sign of intimate friendship.

'Harbour' (A new poem created by me)
Dedicated to everyone who illegally downloads. (Jane's Addiction knew the deal)
'Been Caught Stealing' (Jane's Addiction)
I've been caught stealing, once when I was 5.
I enjoy stealing, it's just as simple as that.
Well, it's just a simple fact
when I want something and I don't want to pay for it,
I walk right through the door, walk right through the door.
Hey all right! If I get by, it's mine. Mine all mine!
My girl, she's one too.
She'll go and get her a shirt, stick it under her skirt.
She grabbed a razor for me
and she did it just like that
when she wants something and she don't want to pay for it,
she walk right through the door
walk right through the door.
Hey all right! If I get by, it's mine.Mine all mine!
We sat around the pile,
we sat and laughed,
we sat and laughed and waved it into the air
ad we did it just like that
wen we want something and we don't want to pay for it,
we walk right through the door, walk right through the door.
Hey, all right! If I get by, it's mine, mine, mine, mine, mine, mine, mine.
